Hi, Lisa-
Congrats on your program's approval! I love your garden's ecosystem, complete with flora AND fauna as well as its focus on social justice!
The ideas that spring to mind were food webs, and life force, and wanted to have that idea in the name, because it also captures the human component. Because I'm a sucker for an acronym, I was thinking of something like "Farm WEB" or "Garden WEB" (Where Everyone Belongs) or "LIFE Force" (Learning in a Farm Environment).
Looking forward to hearing about your students' experiences in this new program!

Subject: Help naming a new high school garden course
I got the go ahead from my school administrators to create an garden-based elective course at my high school! I just need help coming up with a name! The course will be mostly hands-on, and follow the life cycle of a garden (we also have chickens and are getting bees) throughout the year. There will be a strong food-justice, urban agriculture and sustainability aspect to the course. How can I capture all those ideas in a succinct name? Thanks in advance for your ideas!
