I am about to purchase some furniture for our outdoor learning area.  I am looking for durable, long-lasting benches and picnic tables.  I would appreciate any suggestions or websites.

I added a pic of our garden in Brooklyn taken from the subway.

Hi! Good luck w your beautiful garden! Here is a link to a website with convertible benches. We purchased some of these for our school gardens and they stay nice looking and the flexibility to go from bench to table is really handy! - Katie

Our library recently got some of the convertible bench / tables and they seem quite sturdy. I can check where they purchase them. The color is more like wood so it wouldn't get dirty or stained easily.
I also suggest you consider furniture with wheels. Just a thought. Your garden is beautiful! Did you folks paint the mural?

I would appreciate any information you can supply.  Our very talented school custodian painted the mural for our students.  (You should see my hydroponic lab!!!!)

It's a very cozy corner of town. The kids probably love spending time here, but I think the convertible benches that Kathy suggested would be a little awkward. When the kids sit at the table, the side of the bench will likely get in the way. A friend of mine recently purchased aluminum garden furniture from https://www.gardenfurniture.co.uk. It is lightweight and can easily be removed when it is not needed, and in the winter, you can set up a learning area in the hydroponics lab area. I would like to wish you success in your noble endeavor.
