This training is led by Green Our PlanetDuring the training, teachers will learn to use Hydroponics in their classrooms to connect students to the magic and majesty of the universe and engage them in STEM learning. They will receive an overview of Green Our Planet's Hydroponics Curriculum. They will dive deeper into the NGSS aligned lessons in grade level breakout sessions. This course also covers how to germinate seeds, transplant seedlings, and how to properly maintain and troubleshoot a hydroponic system. Teachers will learn how to harvest and how to utilize that harvest with farmers’ markets, chef demos, and/or salad bars.
