My Grandmother used to cut out articles from magazines/newspapers to share with others if she thought it would pique their interest.  I saw this article and instantly thought of my new "kids garden community".  My version of cutting out and sharing articles.

Na'im Pierce, a high school senior, approached the SF Rec & Park Community Gardens Program with a unique proposal last year. He wanted to grow fresh produce for Bayview residents to combat food inequality. They connected Na'im with Adam Rogers Park Community Garden, a garden that needed some renewed interest and energy, and he literally dug right in.

Thanks for sharing this inspiring piece, Kim! My parents and grandparents would also cut out and share newspaper articles and I still have a box full of them. I hope we can all use the Community to help share more local stories like this so we can learn about programs in different regions :)
