Start with the parents at back to school night. Have an info table or tour of the garden available highlighting the students involvement. They would love to be the tour docents.
Then find a local community festival and ask if you can have an info table, invite the community for a tour, have flyers at the info table. Hold a simple seed starting or seed harvesting project at the conclusion of the tour. Recruit community volunteers if this is what you are looking for. Have specific task areas for those volunteers such as watering weeding when school is closed, supervising & assisting students in the garden. Then evolve the tasks as your community engagement evolves.

Subject: Community Events connected to the school garden
We're moving forward with our school garden and I'm working towards some workshops for our students and community members. What are some community event ideas that would include or invite the outside community into our school garden?
