Brenda's background in broadcast media and natural resources give her a unique perspective on the children and nature movement. At the Children & Nature Network, she forges partnerships that support greening schoolyards and ensure education systems become more resilient to climate change. Inspired by her childhood experiences while growing up in Mexico, Brenda is committed to helping future generations gain knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes that strengthen learners' resilience and problem-solving.
