As part of our commitment to program accessibility, AHS offers opportunities for several youth garden educators from around the country to attend this event at reduced rates or free of charge. The scholarships provide funding for symposium registration fees and, in some cases, for travel and lodging. Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated financial need, commitment to children's and youth gardening initiatives, and applicants' work with underserved and/or Title I populations. Some scholarship opportunities are available specifically for attendees who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or as a Person of Color.
Visit our scholarships page for more information and to apply before the deadline on May 27. https://connect.ahsgardening.org/page.redir?target=https%3a%2f%2fahsgardening.org%2f2023-ncygs-scholarships%2f&srcid=211052&srctid=1&erid=17059749&trid=d7716edc-2904-4831-a3fa-3740319778ac
These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of Ball Horticultural Company and University of Tennessee Knoxville. To become a symposium sponsor, please read our Symposium sponsorship information and contact programs@ahsgardening.org.
And remember, early bird rates to attend the symposium end on May 12. Come for the fun and learn skills, ideas, contacts, and resources to bring back to your own community! Register now to attend the symposium. We look forward to seeing you this summer in Knoxville!
