    Hello Everyone,
We have found lots and lots of these things in our natural playscape in Mar Vista CA. Anyone know what they are? They have little indentations that make it look like they have a face. Our play space is filled with free mulch from the city so we find odd things at times.

They look to me like some kind of palm seed. It would be interesting to plant them to find out! :)

I agree about the palm seed - think mini coconuts...
Can you break into one? What does it look like on the inside?

We are going to break into some. Excited to do that. We will plant some too. I will keep you posted!
I told the child in the pictures I had a group of friends that would help us figure this out. I told him they are my Kids Gardening Community.
    Thank you everyone.
