    I'm in hot, dry southern California (Los Angeles) looking for edible plant suggestions / veggie suggestions for our somewhat shaded school garden. What veggies and/or herbs do well in part-sun / part-shade? What plant suggestions do you have for full shade?

    (Here's what we have found--CILANTRO does fine--though we don't worry too much about productivity and enjoy watching the plant go through it's whole life cycle.)
