There is a Facebook group called, "TIPS for School Meals That Rock" that has a lot of examples:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/tipsforschoolmealsthatrock/
Also, all the meal plans here came from school districts that used less process food:

The USDA and a few non-profits, universities, etc. just launched a $50 Million multi-year approach to improve school meals with scratch cooking, more farm to school produce, etc. There will be applications coming out shorter for school districts to apply to be part of this initiative: Healthy Meals Incentives | Food and Nutrition Service (usda.gov)

Subject: Whole-Food, Nutritious School Lunches: K-12 Examples
Hello Everyone,
As part of a larger effort to overhaul breakfast and lunch offerings by my district to students, I have been tasked with providing examples of public school districts that have successfully transitioned away from highly processed, nutrient-devoid foods to nourishing foods made from actual ingredients.
If you know of a district that has made a switch like this to support the health and success of their students and can provide a website and/or contact information with more information, that would be fantastic!
I thank you all for your time and help with this. I deeply appreciate this community and all the support it continually provides!
