Who's at the Table: School Meals Campaign | National Farm to School Network

  • 1.  Who's at the Table: School Meals Campaign | National Farm to School Network

    Posted 11-08-2022 01:45:00 PM

Greetings from the National Farm to School Network,

Like you, the National Farm to School Network has a vision of a strong and just food system for all. We seek deep transformation toward this vision through farm to school – the ways kids eat, grow, and learn about food in schools and early care and education settings.

We need a system of school meals that serves all kids, and values the people who get it to the table. That's why National Farm to School Network is advocating for Values-Aligned Universal Meals focused on equity for the most impacted stakeholders across the food system. Through feedback and direction of partners across the country, we created the Who's At The Table campaign to provide tools to communicate how our shared values can create healthy school meals for all kids that transform our food system, and advocate for the policies to do that.

Our Values-Aligned Universal Meals page encourages everyone to:

    • Learn about our 6 values and why they matter in this work.
    • Get to know all the players in farm to school.
    • Play our interactive game, "What's on the Table?"
    • And learn actions YOU and everyone at the table can take to make change!

Our Ask - Please check it out and share!

Thank you for posting Ryan, I signed up.  Our school is lucky that we are right by a local farm and I have been trying to navigate the school system to figure out how to bring their produce as well as the farmers to our school and eventually all the schools in our ISD.
