Plant a Seed Day

SMALL SEEDS, BIG IMPACT
Ask anyone at Big Green what their favorite day of the year is, and they’ll tell you it’s Plant a Seed Day. Warm sunshine, fresh air, seed packets galore…what could be better? Will you plant with us this year to make it the BIGGEST Plant a Seed Day ever? Just imagine how we’ll enjoy the fruits of our labor once those cute little seeds sprout!

We want you to celebrate with us by planting seeds with your school, classroom, or community group! The coolest part is, if you record your school’s planting activities on our pledge form, you can support a gardening organization (or even your school garden!) that you care about! Over the last four years, over half a million people have planted millions of seeds in celebration of Plant a Seed Day. Together, we can continue the momentum and change the world one seed at a time!

It’s easy, here’s how you can participate:
  • Pledge to plant and tell us how many people are part of your Plant a Seed Day celebration!
  • Gather your classroom or some members from your community and plant seeds this March!
  • Share your photos and inspire others using #plantaseedday
