  • 1.  Post-Frost Farm Activities?

    Hey everyone,

Curious about the activities/lessons people teach on the farm after a frost, and garden snacks/recipes you might use then, specifically for upper elementary.

Planting garlic, seed keeping, cover cropping, mulching, and making snacks with kale and other veggies that get sweeter after a frost are all good activities to teach the natural cycles the farm goes through and how we prepare the farm for the winter – I'm curious what else folks are doing around that time, and what specific recipes you've had success with!

    Thanks,

    Molly
