Hi Everyone! Check out these two virtual summer workshops coming up with FBEN:

Dairy Cows, Avian Influenza, and You

July 11, 10–11am ET/7–8am PT (Virtual): This is an informal space for you to voice a question or concern or to simply connect with others who are thinking about what it means to be an educational farm in the context of avian influenza outbreaks in dairy herds. This will not be recorded, but your questions will be gathered, and if there's interest, we'll organize a part two with an expert to answer questions. Register on Zoom.

    VIRTUAL ABCs ALUMNI CHAT

July 12, 3pm ET/12pm PT (Virtual): Have you attended the ABCs of Farm-Based Education at Shelburne Farms in the past? Join this casual drop in space to connect with other alumni, and share what's going on with your farm-based education work! Join on Zoom.

    VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP

Barbara Sarbin, Something Good in the World

July 19, 2pm ET/11am PT (Virtual): Barbara Sarbin is a veteran farm-based educator and grassroots activist for nature education. She'll share her story of founding Something Good in the World, the challenges and joys of collaborating with farm-partners throughout New York State and Hawai'i as an independent educator, and answer your questions. Register.
