Kids Garden Month 2022

How does your garden care for you?

Kids Garden Month is an annual celebration of kids in the garden hosted by KidsGardening! Each April, we celebrate kid gardeners, as well as lifting up the many positive benefits gardening has on kids themselves.

This year, kids AND adults can participate in the month-long celebration to win prizes!

For Kids:

The Kids Garden Month contest asks kids to tell us how their garden takes cares of them. Parents, caregivers, and educators: encourage the kids you garden with to think about the ways gardening creates opportunities for community connection, time with friends or family, a place to relax or be inspired, provides food, or makes their world a more beautiful place!

For Educators, Volunteers, & Caregivers:

Each week in the Kids Garden Community we’ll post a different question in the forum for you to share your experiences, be inspired, and also win prizes! Weekly questions related to the Kids Garden Month theme "how does your garden care for you?" will be posted on Tuesdays throughout the month and a participant will be randomly selected on the following Tuesday to win a prize package. Weekly questions and prize details are listed below.*

Weekly winner packages will include:

*Participation from members around the world is welcome and encouraged, but prizes are limited to the US and US territories due to shipping restrictions. Certain prizes may be restricted to the lower 48 states.
