The Soybean Science Challenge is an an Arkansas farmer-funded middle and high school education program that seeks to increase student knowledge about the value of soybeans through real-time and on-line education, in-service training, Virtual Field Trips, classroom lab instruction, educational publications, mentoring, and awards for independent student research.

While there are Arkansas-specific reference, this resource can easily be adapted to other regions. The course and challenge components are relevant to Arkansas but the "homegrown" curriculum resources, lesson plans, and virtual field trips can be used by anyone. The "homegrown" curriculum is aligned to Arkansas NGSS-based standards.
