    Curious if anyone know if a free program that I can use to help me design a large garden area? I'd looking for some sort of sketch up and personally need something pretty intuitive.

    I have had used the Mother Earth News Garden Planning in the past and enjoyed it.  It recognizes the various sizes each type of plant needs.
