Kenya's education system switched to a competency-based curriculum with one of the emphasis on the development of 21st-century skills in learners. As a teacher of Agriculture, project-based learning remains one of the main teaching methods expected to drive learners' development of 21st-century skills. What is your experience on this? How is it effectively integrated into the learning process? Any guidelines on this are much appreciated in advance.

I think project-based learning (PBL) is a fantastic method for developing 21st-century skills, especially in a subject like Agriculture. In my experience, PBL allows students to engage in real-world problems and work collaboratively, which really enhances critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. If you're teaching students with different learning needs, like I did with a child who had autism, having a support worker for autism can really help integrate these activities effectively. The support worker can assist with breaking down tasks, providing structure, and offering personalized support to ensure all students are involved. Guidelines for successful PBL include clear goals, collaborative teamwork, and reflection, which can help students build essential skills while still focusing on the subject matter.
