KEEPING THE GARDEN ALIVE DURING SUMMER VACATION
School and community gardens are ideal places to extend environmental education beyond the classroom and into the summer. With some advance planning, students and their families can take advantage of the educational opportunities the school garden has to offer, while ensuring it is maintained during the summer.
