Growing Together: Open Forum

This was new for us. This spring we needed to take mint out of our raised bed, so we decided to let the children take it home today. They dug it out and potted it and watered their sprigs, so we hope they have some healthy mint to use for teas and garnishes.

That sounds like such a lovely idea! What a great hands-on experience for the kids-digging, potting, and learning about herbs all at once. I'm sure they'll be so proud to take their little mint plants home, and hopefully, it sparks some interest in gardening or even making their own mint tea. Such a fun and thoughtful activity
