    Hi! I love seeing all the new faces from everyone who added a profile photo last week! We're continuing the profile update challenge with another easy way to get an entry (or an additional entry) into the garden goodies prize drawing. 

    Did you miss last week's challenge? You can still complete it for a drawing entry. Add a profile photo (or let us know if you already have one). Drawing entry form is in this post.

    This week's challenge: Add a bio and let us know how you're gardening with kids!
    This helps members get to know you if they're looking at your profile or if they're searching in the member directory for fellow educators and volunteers to connect with in their local area or with similar interests.

    Step 1: Add a bio and fill out the demographic fields or check to make sure these are up to date. Instructions to update your bio and other fields. 

    Step 2: Let us know that you've completed this task to be entered into the drawing. Add your name here.

    I have been working on updating my profile, but I am having problems with the 'Garden Type' section. I filled the survey completely, I have checked and double checked, but it still does not seem to be taking. Otherwise, I think I have this little project in hand. Thanks - j

    Garden Types: Aquaponic
    Garden Types: Container
    Garden Types: Hydroponic
    Garden Types: Indoor
    Garden Types: Outdoor
    Garden Types: Vertical
    Garden Types: Other Garden         Type - this one too, it just didn't want to copy over the blue check mark - trust me true, if I can grow a plant in it, I will. :) THANK YOU

    Hey all! Looks like there's a mix up on the backend with the Garden Type category so I'm working with support to fix it. I'll let you know when it's fixed and I'll see if I can update the fields for everyone who chimed in here with their garden types. Thank you all for letting me know that it's not showing up!!!

    The garden type will not populate for me either. Mine is aquaponic, container and outdoor.

    Looks great - thank you. I am curious...my profile does not show at 100%, but I can not figure out what is missing. I have clicked around, but it is not obvious to me. Any thoughts on what how I might be able to figure out what is missing? Thanks.

    @Jody Trumbull Emeott I had to dig into our settings a little but it looks like some fields were included in the profile completeness calculation that are no longer active fields on the profile. Thanks for asking about this! I adjusted the settings and you should no longer see the bar on your profile meaning that you have a "complete profile". For anyone who is interested, these are the items you need to have on your profile for it to be considered 100% complete: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, City, Profile Photo, Bio, Experience Gardening with Kids, and Youth Garden Roles.
