Hi all! I just updated the Funding Opportunities Library and there are lots of open grants right now!!!

Just a little plug for the Whole Foods Market Foundation Garden Grants (listed below) – if you're a school and fit the criteria, you should absolutely apply! They typically give out a lot of awards and have extended the application deadline. (Note that the funds are disbursed in the fall. )

These are some of the national grants with upcoming deadlines. There are many others with rolling deadlines that you can apply to anytime during the year. There are also regional and state-specific grants that you can find by using the filter to narrow down the listings to your region. You can also filter to see what's upcoming. 

• Garden Grants – $3500 for new or existing edible school gardens (deadline 3/15)
• Bee Buddies Pollinator Program – Mason bee starter kit for US schools (deadline 3/15)
• Food Justice for Kids Prize – food and nutrition programs in the US (deadline 4/28)
• Chrysalis Fund – up to $2500 for creative insect-themed projects (deadline 6/1)
• White-Reinhardt Grants – $1000 for ag literacy programs (in partnership with farm bureaus) (deadline 6/12)
• Voya Unsung Heroes Awards – $2000 for educators with innovative classroom projects (deadline 4/17)
• Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes – $10k for individual youth impacting people and the environment (deadline 3/15)
