Hi everyone! I am seeking information about how you manage volunteers that work for your garden. In the past, we've only had one workday a year in the fall, and I coordinated it. Volunteers came, we had a list of jobs, they left, and we were done; however, our gardening program has grown a lot in the past year and the garden now reaches more classes, has more beds, and needs more care than I am able to provide. What sorts of things do you turn over to your volunteers? If you have a volunteer position that acts as a coordinator for other parents, how do you describe the position to them? Any information or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
