We found that by shredding the paper and soaking it overnight (or two), an immersion blender did a fantastic job of churning up the paper into a sludge. We had around 20 people show up to make seed paper hearts!

Making seed paper is always so much fun! Here are some instructions for one way to make them in case anyone has not done it before: https://kidsgardening.org/resources/garden-activities-homemade-paper-valentine-hearts/

At the library we are recycling construction paper and making seed paper valentines. We get to use our scrap paper, the kids think it is fun, and hopefully we will be spreading flowers!
