I wanted to share a great opportunity for youth interested in storytelling, food, and social change: Nourishing Narratives.
This national mobile film contest invites teens (ages 13–18) to create a short film (3 minutes or less) exploring food justice and what a better food future could look like. No special equipment needed, just a phone and a story to tell.
Submissions are open now through April 12, and selected winners receive $1,000 and the chance to connect with leaders in film and food justice.
This could be a great fit for classrooms, afterschool programs, or youth groups looking for a creative, meaningful project this spring.
