  • 1.  Youth Garden Advocacy Community Chat

    Posted 10-13-2023 12:29:00 PM

Hi all! We're really excited for this month's Community Chat on Youth Garden Advocacy on 10/17. We'll be joined by some of our friends at the National Farm to School Network and can chat about anything related to advocating for youth gardens.

We can talk about state and national policies related to youth gardens, garnering support in your local communities, making the case for gardens to your school or school district, connecting with advocacy groups, and anything else you'd like to discuss. From those new to gardening to seasoned educators, everyone is welcome!

If you can't make it, you can still register and drop your questions in the registration form or add them to this thread. And if you're new to Community Chats, you can learn more here.

Hope to see many of you there!

This was a great conversation among Kids Garden Community members and big thanks to Trisha and Cassandra from National Farm to School Network for all of their advice. They compiled a list of resources related to this topic and the Chat conversation - those are linked below and also attached as a PDF.
