Green Our Planet is hosting a virtual training starting November 1st!
In this course, participants will learn how to use school gardens as a teaching tool with the Green Our Planet Outdoor STEM Garden curriculum!
During the training, teachers will receive an overview of Green Our Planet's Outdoor Garden STEM Curriculum, learn tips for teaching in the garden, breakout into individual grade levels to dive deeper into the NGSS aligned lessons, and learn from experts on a variety of topics like gardening and cooking with your garden produce.
The training will take place over 3 (2.5 hour) sessions:
Session 1: Monday, November 1, 2021, 4:00 PM-6:30 PM PDT
Session 2: Monday, November 8, 2021, 4:00 PM-6:30 PM PDT
Session 3: Monday, November 15, 2021, 4:00 PM-6:30 PM PDT
