Community Infraction Policy
The Kids Garden Community community guidelines are not all-inclusive but are intended to outline acceptable behavior and content in the Community. In order to preserve a climate that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, Kids Garden Community Managers reserve the right to suspend, remove content, or terminate member's participation in the Community.
Taking action against a member, particularly in regard to removing an account, is something we would like to avoid but may be necessary to preserve the quality of the Community for all members. This restriction is intended to enrich, not limit, the networking and educational advantages of the Community.
When unsure whether content is consistent with the Community Guidelines, please err on the side of caution and do not post. If there are any questions on what content is appropriate to post, contact the Community Manager.
Please note that the Community Guidelines may be revised from time to time. It is a member's responsibility to stay abreast of changes.
Disciplinary Actions for Community Infractions
The following are general actions for handling infractions. Kids Garden Community Managers reserve the right to amend a process if deemed necessary for individual cases.
-
An email, private message, or phone call communication will be made to the member to explain the infraction that occurred.
-
A member may be asked to edit or remove content. Community Managers reserve the right to edit or delete content. Except for severe infractions, Community Managers will attempt to contact a member before editing or removing content.
-
Members may be placed under moderation for 30 to 90 days for incurring multiple infractions or based on the severity of one infraction. Under moderation, a member's posts will be reviewed prior to being shared in the Community and may be rejected or edited.
-
Kids Garden Community Managers may suspend or remove a member from participating in the Community if deemed necessary.
-
Please note that older content that may cause confusion or contain outdated information may be archived or removed.
