Hi all! Wanted to make sure everyone is aware of our upcoming Community Chat this Wednesday! This will be our first go at providing an informal space for Kids Garden Community members to ask questions "face-to-face" virtually and talk with other educators/caregivers/volunteers about specific challenges and ideas.
There will be two drop-in sessions on October 6th at 3:00-4:00 PM EST and 7:30-8:30 PM EST for our first 'Chat' focused on the theme of "Creating a Learning Garden". Please see the event description for more information.
We'll have a group of "experts" available to answer questions and a talk youth gardening including Sarah Pounders, Christine Gall, Lily Nguyen, John Fisher, Michelle Zupan, Shelley Mitchell, and Zoe Kosmas.
Registration is not required but there's a survey in the event description that we encourage you to fill out if you're interested in this or future Community Chats. This is a new format so if you join, we will ask for your feedback after so we can improve Chats in the future.
Any suggestions for future Community Chat themes? Ideas for other ways to connect with Community members? Any other "events" you'd like to see offered?
Drop any questions and suggestions below. Looking forward to connecting with everyone!
